Who is behind the app
The app was developed by Art-Visum d.o.o., a Croatian company specialised in professional construction tools and materials.

Web and Android app
The calculator is free and works in the browser on desktop and mobile (construction-calculator.app) and as an Android app on Google Play. It is available in 19 languages; Croatian is the source language and the other translations are machine translations.
Aim of the app
The aim of the app is to make it easier for tradespeople, contractors and investors to plan and calculate the quantities of material they need.
How the calculations are made
The calculators use standard construction formulas, consumption rates and data from manufacturers' technical data sheets. Each calculator shows its formula, assumptions and a worked example, and per-material values are listed on the Standards page.

Norms and limits of the calculations
The norms in the app are indicative values. Actual consumption depends on the substrate, the method of application, the product and the manufacturer's instructions. The results are informational and do not replace the product's technical data sheet or a professional design. The app does not claim that the norms have been officially verified or certified.
