Bathroom Wizard – All Materials in One Calculation
Enter the bathroom size once and get levelling compound, floor and wall tiles, adhesive, grout and levelers with a shopping list.
How the calculation works
From the room length, width and height the wizard calculates the floor area, perimeter and net wall area to tile (minus doors and windows, up to the ceiling, up to a set height or only in the shower area). The footprint of a shower tray or cabin is not tiled. Each step – levelling compound, floor and wall tiles with adhesive and grout, and levelers – uses the same formula as the individual calculator, and identical items are combined into one shopping list.
Frequently asked questions
How is the wizard different from the individual calculators?
An individual calculator works out one material for an area you enter. The wizard derives the areas from the room dimensions and links the steps of one job; the result is the same as using each calculator separately.
How are doors and windows deducted?
Only the part of an opening within the tile height is deducted. With tiles up to 120 cm, a window with a sill at 150 cm is not deducted and a door only up to 120 cm.
Why do floor and wall adhesive have one quantity?
When it is the same product in the same pack, the required quantities are added up first and only then rounded to bags, so at most one opened bag is left for the whole bathroom.
Can I save the calculation to a project?
Yes. After signing in, each step is saved as a separate calculation in the project, opens in its own calculator, and the materials go to the project shopping list. The result and PDF are available without signing in.
